10    Beloved of God

                Eph        1:6
                To the praise of the glory of his grace,
                wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

God has accepted us into the Beloved.  That is, He has received us into His Family and Household, forgiving all our sins and remembering them no more. 

God loves you with an everlasting love.  He has received you fully and completely with no reservations into His Family.  You are now the Beloved of Christ Jesus!

                Romans     1:7
                To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called
                to be saints:  Grace to you and peace from God
                our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

                I Thes     1:4 
                Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

                Deut       7:6-8
                For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy
                God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a
                special people unto himself, above all people
                that are upon the face of the earth.  The Lord
                did not set his love upon you, nor choose you,
                because ye were more in number than any people;
                for ye were the fewest of all people: But because
                the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the
                oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath
                the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and
                redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from
                the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

But many people don't know the love of God.  They don't know that He is a good and merciful God.  Knowing God's love towards us, knowing that we are accepted in the Beloved, draws us towards God when we sin.  Knowing His love and limitless forgiveness leads us to repentance, because we value and yearn for His fellowship, which is broken thru sin.
     
                Romans     2:4
                Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness
                and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing
                that the goodness of God leadeth thee to               
                repentance?

We are the light of the world.  We are the present day ambassadors of God's love and mercy.  We must not only be the Beloved of Christ, but we must be the love of Christ to the world.  We must reach out with bowels of mercies to this signing, crying, dying world and pull them into Jesus' waiting arms.

                Colos      3:12
                Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy
                and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness,
                humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;


10.1    Apple of His Eye

We are the apple of His Eye.  God's choice price in all creation.  He has chosen us to be the Bride of Christ.  To rule and reign thru all of eternity with Christ Jesus, ever sharing in intimate fellowship with God.

                Deut      32:10
                He found him in a desert land, and in the waste
                howling wilderness; he led him about, he
                instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

                Psalms    17:8 
                Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under
                the shadow of thy wings,

God values you!  He considers you worthy to be apart of His Family and Household.  He sent His only begotten son to free you and to lead the way unto His eternal salvation.  Glory be unto God!
